have used Great American Chem Dry several times this past year to clean my mom’s carpets. Between accidents from the dog and from mom they have kept the carpets in good shape. They even saved the carpet that got flooded due to a toilet backup. Kevin is very responsive and really knows his business

I inherited a large sectional sofa that needed cleaning. I called early in the morning and was thankful that someone could come on the same day! Kevin did a great job cleaning my large microfiber sofa. It was quite dusty and soiled in the seats in a few spots, and he was able to get them out. He was in and out in about an hour and a half. Prices were fair and he did a very detailed job at getting all parts of the sofa and cushions!! ** Highly recommended!! **
So friendly, fast, and efficient. Kevin was able to come the same day I reached out for an estimate and cleaned some upholstered living room seating I had. Would definitely recommend it. His all-natural cleaner is odorless and nonirritating and the seating looks brand new again.

We used a “restoring” product on our engineered wood floor that left it hazy and showing every scuff mark. Kevin gave us a reasonable estimate so we had him strip and deep clean the floor. Now it looks like the day it was new (it is seven years old). Kevin is friendly, professional and experienced. We love our floor again and thank Kevin for all his hard work and expertise.
I had such a great experience I definitely wanted to post a review! Not only did the owner email me back within 24 hours for a quote, the technician was fantastic! He called ahead of time and was here right when he promised. He was very courteous of everything in my house including my pets and explained every step of the process. He did not scrimp on any of it and you can tell has a lot of passion in his work. I will gladly use them again!
I was totally impressed from the way they answered the phone, Tammy was very friendly and very professional, she explained there cleaning methods and assured me the guys would help me decide what I needed. When they arrived the next time on time they were nothing but a pleasure and hard working!! My carpet and couches looked great I’m having them back next week for my tile which they gave me a great estimate !!! They are 5 stars in my book !!!!

I use Great American Chem-Dry exclusively for multiple properties, both my own and rentals. Kevin always answers first ring. I can typically get them out in just a day or so. Rafael and Aaron are great communicators, knowledgeable, and do a great job. I admit I was skeptical about a non-steam service, but proof is in the pudding and my carpets sparkle! Also, especially in wetter weather, I cannot have a carpet take a couple days to dry. Chem-Dry dried carpets are dry in a couple hours. They use an amazing pet product, but it costs so find that out when you call. I don’t like surprises, and I have found this company to be consistently fair and honest.
I love Great American Chem-Dry! These guys came on time, worked hard, and left my carpet and couch spot free and smelling great. I love that nothing is soaking wet, and usable again in a short time.

Aaron and Star, the guys that came out to clean my mattress, were friendly and professional. They did a fantastic job on the mattress, so I asked them if they could also clean the bedroom carpet and stairs. I wasn’t certain of the results at first (the carpet was really dirty), they assured me they would come back if I was not happy. After the stairs dried I was extremely happy. All the foot traffic marks were gone! The bedroom (the worse of the two areas) was still a little dingy looking, so I called Kevin and right away he made an appointment for the guys to come back. Aaron worked very hard on the trouble spots and it looks much better. I should mention it is berber carpet which is very difficult to keep clean and ever harder to get clean after it is dirty. It’s still not perfect, but much, much better! Easily 5 stars on customer service!
A man name Junior came out to clean our carpets. He was prompt, friendly, worked hard, and did an excellent job. He even said that they would come back if we were not happy with the job he did, but I saw him work and if there was something that he wasn’t able to get cleaner this time around then I don’t know how him spending more time and effort on it could improve our carpet. I would definitely call them back to clean my carpets again.
Eddie and the team did an amazing job cleaning the carpets, travertine and bathroom tiles, and re-sealing the grout. The travertine and bathroom tiles had not been cleaned in a very long time, and Eddie made it look new again. Everyone at Great American Chem-Dry was very professional and polite, and I am recommending Eddie and the team to everyone I know. I will definitely use them again!
Kevin called prior to appt. time to confirm his arrival time. He arrived early and worked diligently leaving our carpets remarkably clean. I asked for additional quotes on other household cleaning. He provided fair pricing so I requested that he clean our sofa. The sofa also turned out freshly deodorized and very clean. I highly recommend Great American Chem-Dry and intend to use them again.
Used Great American Chem-Dry for the first time recently. A nice young man named Richard came and did a fabulous job. The carpet looks amazing and dried in no time. I am very pleased with their company, the price I was given and would recommend them to my family and friends!
Very friendly staff, Anthony was great and after inspection, helped us decide best option for our carpets. Anthony was friendly and efficient! Cleaning was expensive, but we needed it and if it does what it says online, we are happy! We had our couch, loveseat, chair and ottoman cleaned, the steps, and our upstairs hallway cleaned . Anthony worked hard and got lots of dog hair out in between cleaning. He also explained how furniture protectant and works and applied it. Thank you.

This has been hands down the best carpet cleaning business I have ever used! They were so professional, friendly and very thorough with there work. I have used other companies in the past and haven’t ever been fully satisfied like I am with Great American Chem-Dry. I have also just rented some of there equipment and it was again an easy and pleasant transaction. It’s hard to find great companies and great people that are courteous, friendly and professional and I’m glad I was able to find Great American Chem-Dry! Guys!! Don’t hesitate to try them out! You won’t regret it!

Great American Chem-Dry was able to schedule an appointment right away to take care of pet odors from a tenant’s dog. They worked quickly and the carpets look great! And, I should add, they smell great too!

I had an emergency! Big yucky mess. Sick dog. Poop everywhere! On way to vets, I called 9 – 24/7 emergency carpet cleaners in Carlsbad. No one answered. Kevin answered right away. Calmed me down. Super friendly. He Found his cleaning crew. Got them to my apartment before I came back from the vets. They were easy to work with and awesome. My carpets are cleaned, smell great and the mess is gone. Life is back to normal. Now I can focus on getting my dog back to health. Thank you Kevin.
These guys are awesome. I help get the carpets cleaned for a Martial Arts school that gets sweat on it all the time. They consistently show up on time, are incredibly respectful of our belongings, and follow our (admittedly) picky instructions without hesitation and with a smile on their face. Plus we have students w health issues and the chem Dry product is the only one we’ve found that actually works AND doesn’t cause anyone to flare up (and trust me, we’ve shopped around). On top of that, Rafael just cleaned the carpets at my apartment and did a fantastic job. We had way too many pet stains and you could not only see but feel the difference once he was done. I can’t speak highly enough of these guys. They’re awesome!

Angel showed up exactly on time and covered a ton of stairs and every room. He pre-spotted, then used the vacuum device. Since I have a cat he also hit the heavy traffic areas hard and in the end did a very thorough job. This was my second time used this company. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
I called Great American Chem-Dry and I told them that I had pet stains & high traffic area on my rugs. Because I was honest with them about the pet stains & high traffic dirt areas, that I would have to be charged the $119 price, as opposed to the $99 upkeep price. I was fine with this over-the-phone quote and I had no surprises with final bill. The carpets look great, so I am very happy I called Great American Chem-Dry for the job. I was thrilled with my experience with Eddie and Raphael. Raphael suggested that we could have our tile floor cleaned when he was here to clean our carpets. I had no idea they were so dirty! It was truly shocking to see the difference after they were cleaned and sealed. Eddie also took some of my rugs to clean and returned them in a few days. In addition to cleaning, he fixed missing grout in a bathroom which we hadn’t even noticed, and power washed our front steps. It was amazing. The price was extremely reasonable and now I feel as though I have a new floor. Eddie and Raphael were fast and thorough and very pleasant. I can’t thank them enough for their exceptional service.

They cleaned couch cushions for us and did a great job at a reasonable price. I would recommend them.
We needed some specific issues addressed, and Rafael came and did a great job.
Issue #1: we have a microfiber suede couch that requires special treatment – in fact, two steam cleaning companies said we should not use their own services, but get a company that can handle that specific type of fabric. Rafael did a great job.
Issue # 2: we have a regular microfiber couch that when brand-new made my wife itch. We had it steam cleaned and that did NOT resolve the issue. Rafael explained that there is a protective spray added at the factory that could be the issue, and that their process would remove that chemical, and afterward he’d add the Chem-Dry protectant which which would not be a problem. Sure enough, after treatment my wife is not itching anymore.
I plan to have them back to do our carpets.

I got a red stain from kool aid power on my carpet that I thought wasn’t going to come out. One company had already cleaned the carpet and said the red wouldn’t come off. I can’t say enough about the professionalism of the young man named Rafael, who removed the red stain from my carpet. He worked hard and was very professional. I wish I had take a before and after picture. Will always use them from now on.
I called for a last minute carpet cleaning and they were able to accommodate me the very next day. I have a home carpet cleaner, but every now and then I need to call in the professionals. The carpets look great and dried quickly. Even the stairs were once again stain-free and fresh.
The price was very competitive! I will definitely be calling them again.

They showed up on time. They where dressed very professional. And very nice. They did every thing I asked them and the carpet was like new again and dried in about 3 hours. I spent a little more for there hot extraction and it was worth it. I called a bunch of other fast drying carpet cleaners but Great American Chem-Dry had the best prices. So thanks Kevin I will tell my friends.

I recently had Great American Chem-Dry clean 3 rooms in my house and they did awesome! I spoke to Kevin the owner about my pets urine and how I really wanted the spots gone in a few places in my home. I explained that I had a bad experience with a few other carpet cleaning companies that the urine spots came back after paying hefty fees for the special urine removal. Kevin was very understanding and guaranteed if the urine spots came back he would come clean again! I also found some specials on his website that were helpful. Steven the carpet technician was professional and courteous. I showed him the areas and he worked dilgently to remove the spots. Steven is a hard worker and listened to my concerns.I waited almost 2 full weeks after my carpets have been cleaned before I posted this review because I wanted to make sure the spots did not come back. They haven’t and I’m so happy with my carpets! I will definitely keep having this company clean my carpets and I will recommend them to my family and friends!
Boy these guys know how to get soiled and greasy carpets clean. I have had some cleaning done before by a Chem-Dry company and remember they got all the grimy oil like spots out. I restore old cars so am hard on carpets. They use a floor like polisher with a white terry cloth to absorb there special chemicals they spray down and let sit awhile. I have tried steam type cleaning but they never have gotten all the stain and grime out so I stick with these folks as they always get my carpet completely clean. Plus they came out the same day I called, workers were Mike and Aaron, and I live in Clairemont. 5 Stars for these guys.
Needed to get carpets cleaned as I put my house on the market. Kevin was very responsive, and even able to squeeze in an appointment at the end of his day! He was great to work with, knowledgeable, friendly and thorough and the price was very reasonable. The carpets looked so much better after he was done! Though he also offered to come back out if there was anything I wasn’t happy with as it took about a day to fully see the effects of the cleaning. I’d highly recommend him, and would hire him again!

Very skeptical about carpet cleaning services but one of my good friends recommended Great American Chem-Dry to me because they have been using them for years. David one of their technicians came to my house a little bit earlier then my appointment was made that was awesome. He explained everything that needed to be done in detail which I wasn’t used to a lot of places just try and scam you and do unnecessary work. He did exactly what I needed for the price I can afford. House turned out beautiful smelling great and dried quickly. They do a five star job no questions asked I found my go too guys.
Wowzer. Amazing tile cleaning/sealing done today. Called yesterday and they promptly came today and my travertine looks like brand spankin’ new!!! Reasonable price and really great guys. Kevin Eddy is the owner but ask for Eddie to come over to do the job. Thank you, Eddie, job very well done.
A very nice young man David came to my house last week and cleaned just my two bedrooms. I was so amazed on how my carpets looked when he was done I had a lot of traffic areas and some wear they weren’t in the BEST shape. David left my house smelling clean and looking brand new. I will now only use GREAT AMERICAN CHEM-DRY. He was very honest & informative with his work I will only be using him. I have been using Great American Chem-Dry for years. I highly recommend them for their professional and honest service. Kevin has always given me the best deal going at the time, which I greatly appreciate. I have always used the traditional cleaning method but recently tried the hot truck mount cleaning, which I found to be amazing. Great company and great service!

I have used this company before and had a discrepancy that was handled by the owner Kevin immediately. I used them again and a gentleman named Eddie showed up with specific instructions from Kevin to ensure my satisfaction. Eddie was more than polite and the couch and rug came out beautifully! Had an emergency. My dog ate chocolate and threw up all over, and I mean all over my daughters white carpet. They responded to my call immediately and were at my home within two hours. 20 minutes later the carpet was fully cleaned and did not charge me a premium for the same day service. I highly recommend their service.
Eddie did a great job on my carpet! It was disgusting and sooooooo dirty especially considering it was a brand new carpet, I thought all hope was lost but after it looked amazing ! I wish I had a before and after picture. Thank you so much to Eddie for making my carpet brand new again. He was very nice & very professional!
This is my 2nd time using Great American Chem-Dry for several large area rugs and tile and grout cleaning too. They are THE BEST EVER! Both Eddie and Steve are great professionals too.
5 stars for carpet cleaning, showers, customer service, reasonable price, and honesty. Eddie gave me a fair estimate to include carpets, so were stalls, and cleaning a shower door that he thought he could get clean. He worked hard but wasn’t able to get the door clean. If I didn’t think he had given it a great effort I would have subtracted a star. I appreciated him subtracting a small amount from the estimate when he couldn’t follow through on that one thing. Otherwise the carpets and showers look great.
Very helpful in accommodating my schedule. I had to change it twice with no issues from the company. My carpet cleaner “Eddie” texted me an hour prior to appointment as a reminder, and was on time. He gave me a full run down of what he was going to do, did an awesome job, was quick, and kept me within my budget. We also discussed cleaning my hardwood floor & kitchen tile at a later date with no pressure.
